The main difference is the heat treatment. 6063-T5 is cooled rapidly from the extrusion process and naturally aged, offering good mechanical properties, ease of machining, and excellent surface finishes for decorative parts. 6063-T6 is artificially aged to increase tensile strength and yield limits, making it better suited for load-bearing structures like commercial skylights, architectural facades, and industrial mounting systems.
We are certified to ISO 14001, GRS, and RCV standards. All raw alloy composition levels are monitored through optical emission spectrometers to guarantee that lead, cadmium, and hexavalent chromium remain below RoHS limits and comply with the Registration, Evaluation, Authorisation and Restriction of Chemicals (REACH) directives.
